Our Dexy was a powerhouse of love, loyalty, laughter and a hundred other remarkable qualities. A Catahoula leopard dog, she had one blue and one brown eye that gave her a distinct and beautiful face. She grew up on 5 acres that she fiercely protected while showing a gentleness to others including our ducks, cats and cows. She loved to play a rousing game of monkey in the middle and couldn't wait to jump in the pool afterwards. With more than enough energy, there are so many wonderful memories exploring the trails of her other backyard, Myakka State Park. We relish the nearly16 years spent playing, walking, laughing, traveling and simply living with the best friend anyone could have. Her friendship and unconditional love will never be forgotten and she'll always be in our thoughts and in our hearts.
Thank you to Dr. Saleep and Good Karma Veterinary Therapy for your patience and compassion. All the best, Tom & Kathy Meloche
We enjoyed our Great Dane, Bridget more than we can ever express. She was a fun-loving, sweet girl, great with our grandkids, and always game for a zoom around the yard. She was a perfect empty nest dog for us; she'd burst out of the door, zoom like mad, and then come inside and sleep for hours! I've never seen a dog grow so quickly. She grew into an affectionate, loving dog, always attuned to our needs. She was my writing buddy. She had a stuffed gnome for five years and adored it--she'd lie on our bed and gently mouth it, pushing her paws into the bedcovers like a cat. I lost track of how many times I stitched it up for her. Whenever anyone she loved came over, she'd get excited, carry it in her mouth, and show it off.
Sadly, she was suffering from progressive cancer, and we reached out to Good Karma Veterinary Services. We are forever indebted to them for their compassionate, sensitive, and skillful treatment of Bridget. Dr. Sharly Saleep had a connection with Bridget the moment he walked in the door. She calmly accepted his presence (even though to her he was a stranger), which was very unusual for her in her last days. I've honestly never seen anything like it. We were given all the time we needed to say goodbye. It was a peaceful, loving passing.
Many thanks to Good Karma Veterinary Services. We'll never forget their kindness.

Bella was our first baby, our 12 1/2 year old Doberman/Lab. She had a personality ten times the size of her 80 lbs and was just a doll to be around. Her tail was always wagging and her big brown eyebrows could bring a smile to any face. She was so sweet and gentle, loving pets and a good bone to chew on.
Thank you so much for giving us so much more time with our beautiful girl Bella. You treated her like family, giving us 3 more months of smiles, wagging tails, and belly rubs. We love and miss her so much. She was perfect.
Thank you so much,
Love the Kyper family
